Our Commitment to Privacy

The purpose of this policy is to document the rights and confidentiality afforded to all visitors to the Inquisitive website (www.inquisitivemr.com). Inquisitive follows the procedures set forth below to safeguard your privacy online. Please read the following policy to understand how we handle your personal information. This policy may change from time to time, so please check back periodically.

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Inquisitive website. We may ask you to provide “personal information”, such as name, company name, email address, and project specifications to process your request for services.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website.  To accomplish this type of analysis, we use both cookies and log file data.

As with most standard website servers, we use log files. This includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information, except to prevent fraud.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies for navigation and browser session maintenance and to understand traffic patterns generally on our site. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. Session ID cookies are not tied to your personal information.

Personal Information Security

Inquisitive is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party without your prior approval unless required to do so by law. Inquisitive does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

Inquisitive will not make an attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our Internet Service Provider’s logs.

We reserve the right to use in our promotional efforts comments you make in email, in person, or over the phone; however, neither your full name nor your organization’s name will be used. This will be in the form of customer testimonials as presented on our website and in advertising materials. Before using your comments in this manner, we will request your permission.

We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also giving you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
